Biography

1904-1907 trains as a decorative painter. 1913 art school in Cologne. 1919-1923 Städel School, Frankfurt am Main. From 1923 a freelance painter. Numerous travels in Germany, Italy, France, and Austria. 1945 co-founder of the 'Bund Bildender Künstler' (Union of Visual Artists). 1963 moves to Eschborn im Taunus.
