Biography

1934-1938 studies painting under J. H. Höhl, Frankfurt am Main. 1945 acquaintance with Ernst Wilhelm Nay. From 1951 regular visits to Paris. 1952 first 'Quadriga' exhibition in Frankfurt am Main. 1955 tours through Spain. 1957 moves to La Frette sur Seine, near Paris. 1960-1961 travels to Italy. From 1969 regular sojourns in the Mediterranean region. 1984 moves to Ockenheim. Repeated stays in Spain.
